21 Senior Accountants and Accountants from all the 9 provinces and the main Ministry of Education, Sri Lanka, participated in this successful 7 days training programme which was held from 1st to 7th July in Bangkok, Thailand.1st - 7th September 2018Professional Development: Batch 1
From 1st September to 7th September 2018, 31 Zonal Directors of Education and 2 Officials from the Ministry of Education Sri Lanka visited Thailand on their Capacity Development Training and Exposure Visit Programme on āProfessional Developmentā. These 33 delegates from all the 9 Provinces in Sri Lanka is the first batch of 98 Zonal Directors.8th - 14th September 2018Professional Development: Batch 2

30 0 0 The last batch, consisted of 31 delegates from the Ministry of Education Sri Lanka visited Bangkok, Thailand on their Capacity Development Training and Exposure Visit Programme on āProfessional Developmentā. AITN Bangkok successfully completed this training and exposure visit programme for 97 Government Officials which consisted of 81 Zonal Directors of Education and other officials. 25 principals from the plantation schools and the educational officers of the sector, Sri Lanka visited Bangkok, Thailand on their Capacity Development Training and Exposure Visit Programme on āManagerial and Leadership Qualitiesā. Even though the participants are highly enthusiastic in upgrading their educational level, they are in a high need of getting professional experiences to handle the unique issues in the plantation schools. Therefore, it was necessary to educate them with international knowledge and skills for tactful educational administration and leadership. Recognizing this critical important of uplifting human capacity, Ministry of Education Sri Lanka sent the delegates to AITN Bangkok for a 6 days training programme which was held from 10th to 15th November 2018.
